UnReal Spinoff

TVLine Items: UnREAL Gets Spinoff, Legends Adds Time Master and More

It seems the producers of UnREAL just gotta have Faith.

The Lifetime series is currently producing a spinoff about Breeda Wool‘s Season 1 character, according to co-creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro.

“Faith is a character we all fell in love with. She was a closeted Christian lesbian from Mississippi, who’s someone I’m very passionate about,” Shapiro told USA Today. “We pick up with her, and she has a Wrangler-type denim endorsement deal. She and her longtime love, Amy, move to L.A., which is very accepting of their lifestyle.”

The spinoff will take the form of 10 webisodes, slated to debut later this year.

  1. Faith was everyone’s favorite contestant. Glad they found a way to keep her around. Hopefully it isn’t stuck in the closet in Mississippi, though.

  2. wrstlgirl says:

I liked Faith but she was NOT my favorite contestant. I’m not sure I care about watching a show all about her.

  3. Steven says:

I was hoping Everlasting was going ahead with the Adam spin off so he could stay on the show.

  4. BlittleU says:

Faith was definitely my favorite contestant. I was hoping they would follow up with her in season 2, this is even better.

  5. K says:

I loved her character. But I liked Mary more, she had such a sad story arc and was played fantastically by Ashley Scott, I’d love a spin-off about everything she went through with her ex husband and how she escaped.

  6. Grace says:

I haven’t been this excited about a Faith spin-off since the Buffy producers were reportedly considering one. Excellent news–can’t wait to watch!

  7. Lana says:

Why? She was boring as hell and everything about that character was cliche movie of the week. Shoulda been an Adam spinoff.

  8. C.C. says:

Oh… webisodes. That doesn’t really ring as spin-off.

  9. Chuck says:

Actually, The Graham Norton Show aired on Monday, January 18 at 10 PM for the first time.

  10. ScottJ says:

I get very puzzled by guest cast announcements. Legends of Tomorrow is currently filming episode 11 I think so it would have been known months ago that Martin Donovan was guesting, and if he was going to recur chances are he’s already done so.
