Busy Philipps New Girl

TVLine Items: New Girl Gets Busy, Amazon Offers Free Mozart and More

A real cougar soon will prowl the New Girl set.

Busy Philipps (Cougar Town) has booked a guest-starring role on Season 5 of the Fox comedy, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The actress will play Connie, the owner of a new, ultra-popular bar called Presh. Since the establishment is on the same block as Nick and Schmidt’s watering hole, Connie inevitably becomes rivals with the guys.

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8/7c; Philipps’ episode will air this spring.

A youtube show with Miranda would have sufficed, I dunno about a half hour show dedicated to her though.

  2. Megan says:

If she’s a love interest for Nick I’ll be so mad. I’m tired of the pointless love interests.

  3. Simon Jester says:

“The project follows three unrelated people who slowly realize they are dreaming separate parts of a single common dream, which just might hold the key to the fate of the world.” So… the same plot as Sense8, but with fewer protagonists? Okaaaay…

  4. HAP says:

Your sister site Deadline says the streaming window for Mozart on Amazon begins at 9AM Friday. Which is it?

  5. anon says:

Listen, how about we just cancel Grease Live and pretend it was never a thing? There’s still time to back out! Although it will be fun to snark.

  6. wrstlgirl says:

Haven’t watched her in anything since she annoyed the heck out of me on Dawson’s Creek, LOL!!!
