12 Monkeys Season 2 Premiere Date

Syfy Sets 12 Monkeys Season 2 Premiere Date, Unveils First Photos

Syfy’s 12 Monkeys will go back to the future this spring.

Season 2 of the time-trippy series will premiere Monday, April 18 at 9/8c, the network announced on Thursday.

Additionally, the new drama Hunters — from Walking Dead producer Gale Anne Hurd — will debut Monday, April 11 at 10 pm.

Based on Whitley Strieber’s Alien Hunter novel, the sci-fi thriller follows a Baltimore FBI agent who discovers a highly classified government organization that tracks and fights alien terrorists. It stars Nathan Phillips (Wolf Creek), Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck) and Britne Oldford (American Horror Story).

Finally! I’ve been binging on The Expanse (great show), and keep seeing commercials for it and I’m so impatient for April!

  5. tvjunkie says:

I never saw the movie so I didn’t really know much about it going in. It turned out to be one of the better shows SyFy has produced in the last several years

  6. Joey Padron says:

  7. spdavid says:

Ask them on April 18th to go back in time to now so we don’t have to wait.

  8. Beaann says:

I wish it wasn’t moving to Monday. I was used to it on Friday, and since there’s not usually anything else new on to watch, this was my Friday night show. I might have to DVR it on Monday. Then again, since it’s on Syfy, I might be able to catch it another day of the week if they re-air it.

It’s rare that a TV adaptation of a movie is this good, and particularly difficult to win me over when it’s one of my all time favourite movies! Great job SyFy, I’m hooked :)

  10. MQSCIFY says:

A very convoluted show. Hard to follow at times. I suppose they have to constantly come up with new ideas to keep the show going. Bad guys become good guys for a while and vice versa. Will continue watching for the time being.
