Teen Wolf Spoilers

Teen Wolf Enlists Gilles Marini, Y&R Actor for Beastly Flashback Episode

Prepare to meet a few more people from the Argent family’s (very distant) past.

Gilles Marini (Switched at Birth) and Lachlan Buchanan (The Young and the Restless) will guest-star in Teen Wolf‘s Feb. 23 flashback episode, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Marini will play Sebastien, a French soldier who returns home to the countryside of Gévaudan, only to discover that a vicious beast — I’ll give you one guess which beast it is! — has been terrorizing the people he loves, including his younger sister.

“When Gilles was on set, he was excited to do the story,” executive producer Jeff Davis tells TVLine. “He’s French, and for his family, the Beast of Gévaudan was their Boogeyman. They would all tell stories about the Beast, so it was a very familiar character to him.”

Buchanan, meanwhile, will play Henri, a recluse from the Argent family line who lives alone in a forest grove. Described as “wise but guarded,” he knows quite a bit about the supernatural world (as any good Argent should).

As previously reported, this special flashback episode also features the return of Crystal Reed as Marie-Jeanne Valet, one of Allison’s bow-wielding — naturally — ancestors.

  1. Mary Warren says:

I hope I enjoy this show when I get a chance to view, just as watching Lachlan Buchanan on the Young and the Restless!

  2. Ian says:

Sounds like the only good episode to have come in awhile, and not only because its Crystal’s return. This show could do with a break from the tired storylines its dug itself into a hole with.
1700s spin-off??? Not sure theyd have the budget for a period drama though.
