Morrison will play Connor Fox, an assistant U.S. attorney who is responsible for putting the last four Illinois governors behind bars. Described as a tough and smart guy, Connor doesn’t exactly warm to the Florricks upon meeting them.

The Good Wife‘s midseason premiere airs Sunday, Jan. 10, at 9/8c.

Nice casting. But we know how they treat the big names in The Good Wife. He’ll get an episode or two and bye bye.

  2. Steven says:

As long as he doesn’t rap.

  3. Luke says:

Man, Good Wife gets those Broadway actors like crazy! They’ve already had Book of Mormon’s Nikki James recurring this season, Hamilton’s Renee Elise Goldsberry recurring for years, and now Morrison! Obviously Alan Cumming had to balance his commitments on this show with appearing on Cabaret. I know there’s a BUNCH of others I’m missing. I guess it pays to film in NYC…

  4. CAN says:

Oh no, he will always be a skeevy teacher to me.

    • Gerald says:

This…. But that is partly to do with the Glee writers.

Nice of HFP to recognize a few Network television actors (and a CW one at that) for presenters because the HFP will never nominate them for anything. -I’m guessing the only way to draw in the viewers to watch the Globes that don’t watch the specialty cable channels.

  5. chris says:

Bad news. I will want to skip those episodes. I don’t much care for the election story but I double don’t care if we also have to watch Matthew Morrison.

  6. Mr. Tran K says:

Great to see Matthew Morrison back on TV. Now that he’s recurring on TGW, don’t know what he’s been up to after Glee ended.

  7. KC says:

So glad to see Matthew Morrison again! LOVE him!!
