Patricia Elliott Dead One Life to Live

OLTL's Patricia Elliott Dead at 77

Patricia Elliott, who played One Life to Live‘s Renee Divine for more than two decades, died Dec. 20. She was 77.

Elliott, who won a Tony in 1973 for her role in Broadway’s A Little Night Music, was best known to TV audiences as the on-again, off-again wife of OLTL patriarch Asa Buchanan.

Broadway.com reports that Elliott died of Leimyloma sarcoma, a rare cancer.

She is survived by a niece, Sally Fay, an aunt, Claudine Walker, and some cousins.

That was back in the days when I used to watch OLTL. Loved her as Renee. Her scenes with Phillip Carey’s Asa were priceless. RIP

Agree. Out of all of Asa’s MANY wives, she was my favorite. Talented, classy (even portraying a former madam!), and a timeless beauty. RIP

Very saddened by this. OLTL will always have a place in my heart. Loved Renee and the character was indeed grossly underused. May she rest in peace :(

Absolutely loved Renee in Llanview. Ms. Elliott was wonderful in the role and another reason why ONE LIFE TO LIVE is among the best daytime dramas ever.
