11.22.63 Video: James Franco Finds Danger in Hulu Time-Travel Drama

Hulu on Thursday released another teaser trailer for its upcoming 11.22.63 series, solidifying the notion that the past is a very scary place indeed.

The video shows James Franco as Jake Epping, a run-of-the-mill English teacher who is tasked with traveling through time to stop John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

As cheery music plays and several events unfold in reverse, the promo gives you the eerie sense that things are about to get very dangerous for Epping. After all, as the tagline reminds us, “The past hates trespassers.”

The eight-part series, which is based on the novel by Stephen King and executive-produced by J.J. Abrams and others, debuts on Feb. 15, 2016. It also stars Chris Cooper, Cherry Jones (24), Lucy Fry (Mako Mermaids), T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy) and Josh Duhamel (Battle Creek).

Does anyone know if the episodes will be released weekly or all the episodes will be released at one time? I know that Hulu did weekly episodes for Casual and The Mindy Project, but I’m not sure about other original series. I’m hoping they release all eight episodes all at once.

I just read the book earlier this week. Yes, I plowed through it in about 30 hours. It’s excellent. Looking forward to the show.
