The Simpsons Ratings

Ratings: Simpsons Flat in Sunday Finals

Leading out of some boffo Sunday afternoon football coverage — and with Obama speech delay now factored out — Fox’s The Simpsons drew 5.5 million total viewers and a 2.3 rating (per finals), on par with its last fresh episode.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was steady with 4 mil/1.7, while Family Guy (3.6 mil/1.7) and Last Man on Earth (3.6 mil/1.4) each ticked up a tenth in the demo.

Elsewhere in the ratings….

ABC | With Obama delay now factored out, Once Upon a Time’s fall finale (4.6 mil/1.3) added a few eyeballs while matching last week’s series low demo. The penultimate Blood & Oil (3.9 mil/0.9) was steady, while Quantico (4.4 mil/1.2) held onto its series low.

CBS | The Sinatra-centric All-Star Grammy Concert did 8.8 mil/0.8, up 16 percent in audience yet skewing older than February’s Stevie Wonder tribute.

NBC | Sunday Night Football (22 mil/7.6) slipped 12 percent from last week’s finals.

  1. Coach Taylor says:

For what its worth….I hope the Blind Item answer was not Hook because I feel duped if that is the case….he is not important enough as a co-lead ” ” to make one question how the series will go on

  2. Sg. Grant says:

Cue Mr. Kevin Tran, with his daily post regarding something being cancelled, and how hopeful he is that it will be cancelled. It will, of course, be written in some sort of broken English.

I feel sad for B99. It’s doing solidly well with the occasional NFL boost. And now it’s going to be sandwiched between two shows that are fractional. I just hope Fox hasn’t killed it with the move.

Me too it’s the only non streaming show I watch and I really fear for its future with this move. It is a great show I hope even sandwich between terribly viewed shows it continues to do well.

I would say what was fox thinking but I actually get why they are making their move I just don’t like it
