Like most of us, Quantico is going to get a little bigger over winter break.
The ABC drama is bringing on three new recurring characters to mix it up with the NATs/agents, TVLine has learned.
First up is Drew Perales, a hot former NFL player who left the game to fight a class-action lawsuit against his former employers. Oh, and he’s really confident and charming, too. Drew is played by Lenny Platt, who was the college-jock boyfriend of murder victim Lila Stangard in How to Get Away With Murder‘s first season.
Next, there’s Will Olsen, a “brilliant and brusque working class kid made good” — per the official character description — who has a doctorate from Harvard, job experience at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab and absolutely zero social skills and/or empathy. He’s played by Jay Armstrong Johnson, who played Chip in the recent Broadway revival of On the Town.
Lastly, Iris Chang is an enterprising Chinese national whose folks are rich and whose start-ups do very well (she sold two to Google while a student at the University of Southern California). The gorgeous, flirty Queen Bee is played by Li Jun Li, who appeared in Damages‘ fifth season as Maggie Huang.
Will, Drew and Iris will show up in the drama’s midseason premiere, slated for March 6, 2016.
