Blue Bloods Buckley

Blue Bloods Recruits AJ Buckley to Clash With Jamie Reagan

CSI: NY vet AJ Buckley is returning to the Big Apple, with a visit to Blue Bloods.

TVLine has learned that Buckley — whose more recent TV credits include Murder in the First and Justified — will guest-star on the CBS drama as Sgt. Mulvey, Jamie’s superior at a hostage scene.

Alas, Mulvey rubs young Reagan the wrong way when he barges into the scene, refusing to follow proper protocol and thus putting lives at risk. This, we later learn, marks a pattern for Mulvey, who has a compelling reason for such behavior.

Buckley’s credits also include episodes of Narcos, Hawaii Five-0, The Mentalist and Supernatural, and a guest spot on CBS’s upcoming midseason drama Rush Hour.

Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10/9c; Buckley’s episode will likely air in November.

He looks pretty fierce in this photo. A far cry from how he looked in CSI New York. He’s been good in whatever role I’ve seen him in.

  2. Positivity differs from optimism in that thinking positive in the face of
all situations can be used as a tool to effectively manage the health of our emotions.
Depending upon the structure of your family, this could be a crucial factor.
Presenting simple education and learning in nursing, it provides the most critical skills and understanding in a

    want for this subject.

  3. This guy went from being the loser nerd in CSI NY to becoming one of the fiercest guys on TV.

  4. Ram510 says:

This should be a nice addition. Now if they could find some one to clash with Donnys character, someone needs to put him in check cause he’s annoying

    • Laura C says:

I like Danny just the way he is. I’m sure there are cop/detectives just like him. He’s fiercely dedicated and won’t give up. That’s the kind of detective you WANT on your side, not so much if he is trying to apprehend you however. He’s gotten called out on his actions/attitudes numerous times; by his boss, his family, don’t know what you’re talking about.

  5. The Rookie says:

Can Jamie at least take the Sgt’s exam? It is unrealistic that he has been on the beat 6 years when all others (as stated last season) were promoted to detectives in their first 3 years.

    • smartysenior says:

Not to mention he has a law degree. You’d think his advancement up the ranks to high level specialty jobs would be automatic.

  6. I was wondering if they are ever going to let one of the Reagan s dream about what happened to Joe and let us see it.

  7. mrsfoxxe says:

I like show being about another instead of Danny all the time. There are other people on that show!

    • Laura C says:

Blue Bloods is NOT your typical cop show. This show really is about FAMILY, specifically the Reagans. I believe ALL family members have been equally represented. It is how each family member in the LE field (former commissioner, current PC, cop, detective, DA) deal with their particular issues, and can come together at dinner to discuss, even if they don’t agree with one another. Other family and personal issues also come to light and are resolved. Everyone
else is just part of the storyline. I love Danny, would want him on MY side if I were in trouble. (not so much if I were the criminal however). He stays until the JOB IS DONE.

He was also good when he guest starred on LONGMIRE
