* The Daily Show host-in-training Trevor Noah will appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday, Sept. 17.

* Forever alum Judd Hirsch will appear in The Goldbergs‘ third season, taking over the role of Pop Pop — Murray’s grouchy father — from Paul Sorvino, who had a scheduling conflict, THR reports.

* Sundance will premiere Season 2 of the acclaimed French series The Returned on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10/9c.

* The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal will kick off their new seasons on Monday, Sept. 21, with special themed weeks: The Price Is Right will feature “Decades Week,” with each episode focusing on a different decade from the ’70s through present day, and Let’s Make a Deal will feature “Mega Deal Week,” in which the Big Deal winner at the end of each show can compete for every prize seen on that day’s episode.

* W/ Bob & David, Netflix’s upcoming sketch comedy series starring Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) and David Cross (Arrested Development), will premiere Friday, Nov. 13, with four half-hour episodes.

    The Returned on Halloween? Perfect!

  2. RUCookie says:

WHAT? PopPop is being recast? I love Judd Hersch but wow! Unfortunate. I liked that dynamic and great cast chemistry.

  3. Mr. Tran K says:

In my opinion, Let’s Make A Deal is way better than The Price is Right and I really hope that both shows should do a special April Fools’ crossover event (Drew takes over LMAD and Wayne takes over TPIR) on April 1, 2016 and producer Mike Richards better make that happen because it’s what fans really want and if it doesn’t, people are still outraged. My advice for the contestants on TPIR is that you don’t jumped on Drew Carey even though he’s recovering from neck and shoulder surgery nearly a year ago and they better bring in security to prevent them from never harming the host.

Happy to hear about new season of The Returned, although I think I still prefer calling it Les Revenants myself, to differentiate it from the crappy remake.

Thanks for clarifying Hirsch was taking over for Paul Sorvino’s character. I initially thought he was taking over for George Segal and I began to panic.

WHAT???? NOOOOO!!! PopPop is the best grandpa on tv and I love him and Adam scense together! What could he possibly be doing that is better? And I would rather him be on a cruise rather than being replaced!
