Alexandria might feel a little crowded when The Walking Dead returns.

The AMC drama has promoted Tovah Feldshuh, Alexandra Breckenridge and Austin Nichols — who play Deanna Monroe, Jessie Anderson and Spencer Monroe, respectively — to series regulars for Season 6, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trio, who recurred throughout Season 5, brings the show’s series-regular total to a whopping 18 cast members.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, Oct. 11, at 9/8c with a 90-minute premiere.

I smiled when I read the series regular promotion bit, sounds like a ‘fool me twice’ situation. Last time this happened, they announced pre-season that Andrew J. West (Gareth) has been promoted to a series regular. SPOILER: He died 3 episodes later.

  2. Azerty says:

As an old fan of One Tree Hill (yes even the latest season) I am glad to see Austin Nichols back on my tv! I was so surprised to see him when he opened the door for Sasha!

  3. Madison says:

I am not a fan of Jessie for some reason…she just bugs me. I hope she gets eaten quickly. Ugh that makes me terrible.

    • justsaying says:

I concur. And i don’t feel awful about it at all. Like our main characters, I’m over people being that weak at this point in the zombie apocalypse. If you aren’t trying to get stronger and survive by now, then you’re just going to get someone else eaten.

    • Bailey says:

You are not the only one. I rather see Lori come back from the dead than for Jessie to be with Rick. I just don’t see any chemistry between them. All I see is two good looking people giving each other the eyes. I hope she bites the dust this season because I don’t know how much longer I can take her. It’s ashame because I actually like the actress but she seems so out of place on this show.

LOL ‘England’s first African-American Director’. I doubt she’s American if she’s England’s first anything? xD

  6. Spence says:

Based on the season 6 trailer, it doesn’t look like Alexandra’s promotion will mean very much for very long.

  7. Jimmy says:

18 series regular cast members… looks like A LOT of people will be dying this season on TWD…
