TVLine Items: Hillary's Tonight Show Visit, Thrones Cast Grows and More

The next stop on Hillary Clinton‘s campaign trail: The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Democratic presidential hopeful will stop by NBC’s nightly talker on Wednesday, Sept. 16, the network announced Tuesday.

Clinton’s Tonight Show gig will be her first late-night talk show appearance since announcing her White House bid in April.

Fallon recently sat down with Republican candidate Chris Christie and will next host Donald Trump on Friday, Sept. 11.

* Game of Thrones has recruited Richard E. Grant (Downton Abbey, Girls) for Season 6, though details of his role are being kept under wraps.

* Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, LL Cool J and Maggie Gyllenhaal are set to present at the 67th Emmy Awards, the Television Academy announced Tuesday.

* MTV on Tuesday ordered three scripted pilots: Little Darlings, a half-hour dark comedy about two unlikely friends bringing justice to their college campus; an untitled comedy from Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont (Can’t Hardly Wait) about two pot dealers trying to keep their Los Angeles clients happy; and an untitled comedy starring Nicole Byer (Fast Food Heights) as a woman who is forced to move in with her suburban sister (and her four kids) after causing a fire in her New York City apartment. The cabler also greenlit Ladylike, a hidden camera prank show that will find participants challenging social norms in public.

* TV One has renewed its scripted comedy series Born Again Virgin — about a thirtysomething writer who becomes celibate after years of unsatisfactory dating — for a 12-episode second season, set to air in early 2016.
