Fredric Lehne Chicago Fire

TVLine Items: New Chicago Fire Chief, Megan Hilty on TV Land and More

The members of Firehouse 51 might not want to get too comfortable when Chicago Fire returns — at least, not if Fredric Lehne has his way.

The ubiquitous TV actor will recur on Season 4 of the NBC drama as Deputy District Chief Ray Riddle, a gruff, politically savvy fire chief above Boden.

According to, Riddle is gunning for the Fire Commissioner position — and he doesn’t care if Firehouse 51 becomes collateral damage along the way.

Lehne’s many TV credits include Law & Order: SVU, American Horror Story and Supernatural, as well as the upcoming TNT drama Public Morals.

Chicago Fire returns Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 10/9c.

    But wouldn’t it be @11pm?

  2. Kate says:

Is anyone else sick of the “let’s get rid of the fire chief and replace him” or “let’s get rid of Firehouse 51” storylines on Chicago Fire? I enjoy the show, but these storylines seem beat to death. Isn’t there any other way to cause drama here?

    • wrstlgirl says:

I was just going to say the same thing. This just sounds like a repeat of the Michelle Forbes story arc. But truth be known I’ll take anything over the Casey & Dawson relationship drama. So sick of that.

  3. dj says:

Looking forward to Jay Leno’s shot on Last Man Standing. I hope we see more of him. He is missed in this family!

  4. ed says:

Hilty ruined Smash & Sean Saves the World for me! Ug, another show that won’t last long!

  5. Mr. Tran K says:

Kristen Bell guest starring as herself on Liv & Maddie? That’s really something and her hubby Dax Shepard must be proud.

  6. Television says:

They already told this story on Chicago Fire, stop causing so much drama in the firehouse, the reason I like this show is for the brotherly aspect.
