Someone please tell Graceland they should not end the season on a cliffhanger because USA sucks, and will probably cancel it because they hate good shows.

    • johnhelvete says:

The ratings being down by at least 38% from season two is probably a good enough of a reason for USA to cancel the show. You are correct that the producers are showing little regard for the fans of the show if the season ends on a cliffhanger unless they have been promised that the show is certain to be renewed.

  2. Eric says:

Wait. Hotel hell was back on the air for season 2? I liked the show. When did/is it airing?

  3. m3rcnate says:

Ending on a big cliffhanger…for a show that is on the chopping block as a show can be….real smart move show-runner & writers….REAL smart (sarcasm).
THAT is how you piss off fans and get them to not give your next show a shot because you just burned them. Odds are this show gets cancelled after this season ends, and they decide to end it on a cliffhanger? Sad.
Two keys to not having this happen (and as JohnHelvete points out, having their ratings down at least 38% from S2) are keeping the show fun (S1 was fun, was a LA sunny beachy surfing show) and not totally destroying the Paige character by having her do something so insane & unrealistic.

As for the add….idk, its cool to get another character, hopefully Jakes starts smiling and gets some happiness…but it kinda sucks the love interest for the black guy has to be a black girl. Think about it; Mikes love interest is Paige (White, White), Briggs and Charlie (Latino, Latina), Johnny and Lucia (Latino, Latina), and now Jakes (black) with a black chick? :/
I’m not all about forcing diversity, but i really do enjoy seeing diversity on TV especially for couples, seeing Mike with Rachel (mixed), seeing Jeremy with Bonnie (black), seeing Scott with Richmond (w/e ethnicity she is)… and many more.

    • johnhelvete says:

And if the show gets cancelled most of the fans will blame USA for cancelling a show that ends on a cliffhanger instead of the writers/producers.

      • m3rcnate says:

What i blame the network for in that position is not allowing the Showrunner/Writers to come out publicly and say what their plans were for resolving the cliff-hanger, what their plans were for the characters in the macro story and what their end game was.
I don’t get why they can’t allow that, ABC Family did (or didn’t care to stop her) when Plec detailed the plans for Kyle and characters on Kyle XY. It helps give some closure.

        • Paula says:

Where did you see that at? I always wondered how they would have resolved everything. After ABC Family cancelled The Nine Lives of Chloe King (which had numerous cliffhangers), the producer released the script online for what could be a TV movie. But I don’t know if ABC Family objected to it.

Love Annie. I hope she does more POI episodes, I had lost interest in the show until she started appearing.
