Afters weeks of revealing casting scoop and small plot details, American Crime creator John Ridley has revealed the full premise for Season 2 of his anthology series.
Per our sister site Variety, Season 2 of the ABC drama will take place in Indianapolis, where a public high school student accuses several players on a private school’s championship basketball team of sexually assaulting him, then taking photos and posting them online.
Lili Taylor, who appeared on American Crime‘s first season, will play the mother of the victim (Falling Skies‘ Connor Jessup), while André Benjamin and Regina King will portray the parents of one of the accused teenagers.

* Lewis and Clark, HBO’s six-hour miniseries exec-produced by Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt, has temporarily stopped production. According to Deadline, the pause is partly due to internal creative reasons, which have caused director John Curran and director of photography Rob Hardy to leave the production. No word yet on when filming will resume.
