Jeremy Clarkson New Show

TVLine Items: Top Gear Hosts' New Show, Gilmore Girls Reruns and More

The former faces of BBC America’s Top Gear are cruising into Amazon.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have signed a three-season deal with Amazon Prime Instant Video for a new, as-yet-untitled motoring show to debut in 2016.

Clarkson broke the news on Twitter Thursday:

The Amazon deal comes four months after Clarkson’s Top Gear contract was not renewed, following a physical and verbal altercation with producer Oisin Tymon. Hammond and James also left the show after the dust-up.

Does that mean that ABC Family won’t show Gilmore Girls anymore?

    • misery chick says:

Oh, I didn’t think of no more GG on ABC Family…I hope it’s on both channels! I hope UP will do an introductory GG marathon and run multiple episodes/day. I’ll watch as many daily eps that are shown!

    • Lauren says:

This was my first thought too. That does happen sometimes. I hope they both air them, I don’t know what UP is but I don’t think we have it. GG on ABC Family are unabashedly my lunch break every day!

  2. Angela says:

Ooh, will have to keep an eye out for those U2 specials.

  3. Steven says:

Ugh, Up airs repeats of Judging Amy and edits the hell out of them. They can’t even say hell!

  4. Missy says:

The Rob Benedict news is FANTASTIC. I’ve been missing him on Supernatural but I’m an equally huge fan of Masters Of Sex and Season 3 is starting in 6 days here(Australia) :D

  5. Sarah T says:

Not a fan of Maria Menounos so I don’t think i’ll be tuning into E! News anymore. I would have rather they just bumped up Cat Sadler and Jason Kennedy to cohosts and left it at that.
