TVLine Items: Fargo Season 2 Trailer, Amazon's Zelda Casts F. Scott & More

For the last few weeks, FX has offered 10-second glimpses at Fargo‘s second season. Now, a full-length trailer is (finally!) available for viewing.

But don’t be fooled by the adorable Minnesota accents you’ll hear in the video below. It seems every Season 2 character has something to hide — even Kirsten Dunst’s cute-as-a-button Peggy Blomquist. (Other big names making an appearance in the trailer: Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson, Jean Smart, Brad Garrett and Nick Offerman.)

Fargo‘s second season premieres in October. In the meantime, doncha know you’re supposed to press PLAY?

Ready for more of today’s newsy nuggets? Well…

* Gavin Stenhouse (Allegiance) has been cast as F. Scott Fitzgerald in Zelda (fka Z), Amazon’s drama pilot about celebrated novelist Zelda Fitzgerald (Christina Ricci), Deadline reports.

* Nicole Ari Parker (Soul Food) will recur on Rosewood, Fox’s upcoming drama series about the titular Miami pathologist (played by Morris Chestnut). Per Deadline, Parker will play Kat Crawford, Rosewood’s new girlfriend and a highly sought-after psychologist.

* Khloe Kardashian will host Kocktails with Khloe, an hour-long primetime talk show airing on FYI later this year. Throughout eight episodes, Kardashian will invite celebrity guests and friends to a dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and party games.

* BBC America has unveiled the key art (embedded below) for its upcoming drama The Last Kingdom. Premiering Saturday, Oct. 10, the eight-part series takes place during the birth of England and follows young warrior Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon, American Horror Story) on a fierce mission to reclaim his birthright.

    I’m irked we have to wait over a year for the new season, I wish they had gotten some bigger names for this new season though I do like Patrick Wilson……

    Zelda Fitzgerald wasn’t a “celebrated novelist.” She might’ve been if given a fair shot (esp. by her husband) but she published one book, a thinly veiled one about her marriage, and it was a commercial and critical flop. She was trying to write another. Who knows what she was capable of if someone had encouraged her because some people actually thought she might’ve had something there. He made her rewrite it heavily when he realized they’d drawn on some of the same experiences. She got there first. It was also her life to write about, but of course F. Scott Fitzgerald bullies her into changes and calls her a third rate writer. If someone had tried to make him not use his life and to rewrite his book, he would’ve hit the ceiling.
