Albright, the first female U.S. Secretary of State who served from 1997-2001, will play herself in the installment. She’ll advise current Secretary of State Elizabeth on how to handle a delicate situation with the national security advisor (played by Julian Acosta, Hand of God) that threatens to ruin her relationship with the president.

Gilmore Girls fans and/or Albright groupies will remember that she also had a cameo in a 2005 episode, showing up in one of Rory’s dreams.

Madam Secretary returns on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 8/7c.

Ok now I’m having serious doubts abt season 2 or I’ll just skip this ep! This is the monster who said it was fine to kill 1000 innocent children if it meant america was safe or something to that effect. I can’t remember Her exact words in that interview she gave back then but something along those lines.

  4. JB says:

Prediction: Just before the 2016 election, Hillary will make a guest appearance, with a scene where Elizabeth will praise her “wise leadership and cool responses while she was Secretary”.
Of course, CBS will say the timing is “coincidental”. :)
