TVLine Items: Denis O'Hare's Hotel Stay, NCIS: NO Upgrades and More

Denis O'Hare American Horror Story

American Horror Story has room in its Hotel for one more franchise alum.

Denis O’Hare, who most recently played con artist Stanley in Freak Show, will return to the FX anthology series for its fifth season this fall.

“We’re just finalizing Denis O’Hare’s deal, he’s going to come back,” exec producer Ryan Murphy told our sister site Deadline, though he did not elaborate on the details of O’Hare’s character.

In addition to Freak Show, O’Hare also appeared on Horror Story‘s first season as Larry Harvey, a previous owner of the Murder House, and on Coven as mute butler Spalding.

* Former Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson’s next comedy special, Just Being Honest, will air Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10/9c on Epix.

Oooh, another comedy special from Craig Ferguson? Yay! Will definitely keep that in mind.

  2. The Beach says:

Love Denis O’Hare. He is great in everything but he’ll always be Russel Edgington to me.

  3. A.M says:

Loved him in the last…he’s amazing

  4. Mr. Tran K says:

Really hope that Craig Ferguson is still enjoying his post Late Late Show gig. Wish his BFF Drew Carey should have his own talk show in the near future and not continuing to host a game show that still won’t get canceled in The Price is Right.

  5. Bella says:

Glad that Patton is going to be a regular. Not sure about Sonja though.

  6. liame says:

Glad that Sonja is going to be a regular, now the show is tolerable.

  7. Jon88 says:

“Mitchell portrays Patton Plame, a brilliant computer investigative specialist who has a long-standing rivalry with Scott Bakula’s Agent Pride.” That must have come from a press release, because it certainly hasn’t been presented on the show.

I don’t watch this NCIS that often so I could be wrong, but I saw one episode with Shalita Grant and it looked like she had more of a feud with LaSalle.

  8. Mare says:

VERY happy about Darryl Mitchell and Shalita Grant being made regulars on NCIS:NO! Really liked their additions last season.

  9. Martyo says:

why hasn’t Gary Glassberg extended a contract offer to Diane Neal for a permanent role on any of the NCIS franchises? She’s a fan favorite and, according to GG, “part of the family”…
