Fall TV: Jane Lynch's Angel From Hell Among 2 Comedies Ordered at CBS

Jane Lynch Angel From Hell

CBS on Friday added a pair of comedies to its 2015-16 season roster, including the Jane Lynch-Maggie Lawson multi-cam farce Angel From Hell.

The Eye network also ordered to series Life in Pieces, a star-studded single-camera family sitcom from Better Off Ted EP Justin Adler.

The two shows join five new dramas that CBS has ordered for next season, including a spinoff of Criminal Minds and an adaptation of the film Rush Hour.

    So CBS adds 2 single-cams to their roster of 4-5 (if Odd Couple is renewed) multi-cams. Interested to see how they schedule them.

      Or one single-cam and another multi-cam…

      “Angel From Hell” sounds interesting, and I’ll watch it just for Maggie Lawson and hope it does better than “Back in the Game”. The other one (which name I can’t even be bothered to scroll up to remember) sounds ‘meh’ at best.

    Don’t know if either Angel From Hell and/or Life in Pieces are going to get passed their rookie season.

    Angel from Hell sounds kind of similar to Teen Angel, except gender-swapped and age-bumped.

    Fan of Lawson, but anything but a fan of Lynch. Tough choice.
