How many scruffy stars can one show feature? We’re about to find out.

Enlisted vet Geoff Stults will appear on CBS’ upcoming summer series Zoo, starring James Wolk (The Crazy Ones), in a multi-episode arc, EW.com reports.

Based on James Patterson’s bestselling book, Zoo follows a young renegade biologist (played by Wolk) who is thrust into a race to unlock the mystery of why animals are suddenly and violently attacking humans. Stults will play Agent Ben Shafer, a rogue FBI agent who is investigating the bizarre events, but whose methods and motivation complicate things for our heroes.

Zoo premieres Tuesday, June 30 at 9/8c.

* Disney Channel has greenlit the family comedy pilot Stuck In the Middle, starring Jenna Ortega (young Jane the Virgin), Deadline reports. The project is about a middle child (played by Ortega) who lives life in the eye of the tornado that is her family.

* OWN has ordered additional episodes of its four Tyler Perry-scripted series, The Haves and the Have Nots (bringing its total to 23 episodes), If Loving You is Wrong (to 22), Love Thy Neighbor (to 22) and For Better or Worse (to 20).

* MTV on Friday renewed Are You the One? for a third season and The Challenge for Season 27. Additionally, the network ordered two pilots: Girl Code Live, a weekly half-hour talk show hosted by Girl Code panelists, and Greatest Party Story Ever, a weekly half-hour retelling of everyday people’s debaucherous experiences.

* Logo will air the first episodes of its new Russell T. Davies dramas Cucumber and Banana following the season premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race (March 2, 10/9c).
