ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this Tuesday returned to 5.4 million total viewers and a 1.8 demo rating (per finals), up 15 percent and two tenths to its best numbers since the season opener.
Leading off ABC’s strong lineup, Toy Story That Time Forgot did 6.8 mil and a 1.9, while A Charlie Brown Christmas (6.8 mil/2.1) rose two tenths from last year’s broadcast. Forever closed the night with 5.2 mil/1.2, hitting 8- and 9-week highs.
THE CW | The Flash‘s half of the Arrow crossover event — which TVLine readers gave an average grade of a high “A” — drew 4.34 million viewers and a 1.6 rating, up 22 percent and two tenths to its best numbers since Episode 2. Supernatural (2.33 mil/0.9) was steady.
FOX | MasterChef Junior (4.8 mil/1.6) and New Girl (3 mil/1.4) each ticked up a tenth in the demo, while Mindy Project (2.5 mil/1.1) was flat.
NBC | The Voice (11.2 mil/2.6) rose 20 and 13 percent, Marry Me (4.7 mil/1.3) surged 37 percent and two tenths, About a Boy (4.2 mil/1.1) was up 43 percent and a tenth and Chicago Fire (7.4 mil/1.7) grew 23 percent plus a tenth.
CBS | Among its repeats, NCIS drew the night’s largest audience: 11.6 million viewers.
