Ratings: CSI Returns Down; Family Guy, Madam Sec'y Slip; Revenge Ticks Up

CSI Season 15 Ratings

CBS’ CSI returned from two successive weeks of preemptions to 8.6 million total viewers and a 1.2 demo rating, down 3 and 14 percent from its last fresh outing.

Opening the Eye’s night — and pending adjustments due to slight NFL overrun — Madam Secretary (12.6 mil/1.4) was down 5 and 22 percent, while The Good Wife (10.7 mil/1.4) was steady.

Elsewhere….

ABC | Once Upon a Time (7.4 mil/2.5) ticked down one tenth and Resurrection (4.5 mil/1.2) slipped 10 percent and two tenths, but Revenge (5.2 mil/1.3) rose 10 percent and a tenth.

NBC | Sunday Night Football (17.3 mil/6.2) is up a tick from last week’s fast nationals.

FOX | Leading out of football, The Simpsons‘ crossover with Futurama (6.6 mil/2.9) popped 57 and 45 percent, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine (4 mil/1.8) rose 18 percent and a tenth. Family Guy (3.6 mil/1.8) dropped 23 and 28 percent from its last original, yet still boosted Mulaney (2 mil/0.9) by 25 and 29 percent.

  1. Great for Revenge, As the season 4 continues, they giving us better episodes than the season 3 we saw last year. And it’s good for them, ’cause now the ratings are improving a little bit.

      I agree.. Revenge is really good this season with this episode being pretty nail-biting. This show is the guilty pleasure i am glad i didn’t quit when it went stray in season 2(b)

    the CSI show last night on CBS I saw 2 weeks ago on CTV, maybe others had also seen it and that is why it was down in ratings

      I was going to mention that too. I don’t recall if it was on CBS that week as well or preempted. So I didn’t watch last night either, but do ratings in Canada even matter in the States?

    CBS better end CSI after 15 seasons even though the move to Sundays is a very bad idea because of football overruns.

    It’s past time to retire CSI. I’m sorry, but that pic is sadly indicative of what this once groundbreaking show has become. Death with dignity I fear is no longer an option. Remember the good ole days via syndication.

    1-Verry happy with OUAT numbers this season.
    2-I Hope Revenge gets at least a Fifth and final season.
