Orange New Black Toussaint

Orange Is the New Black will definitely be down one inmate in Season 3, despite a rumor making rounds to the contrary.

Netflix tells Buzzfeed that Lorraine Toussaint will not be returning as Vee, whose fate was left unknown at the end of the Season 2 finale

The news comes on the heels of a TMZ report that the actress was recently seen on set filming.

* Ty Olsson, who played fan favorite Benny on Supernatural, kicks off a recurring arc on The 100 this Wednesday (The CW, 9/8c) as village healer Nyko, and TVLine has a sneak peek of the gruff but sympathetic Grounder coming to the aid of Octavia.

* Hilarie Burton (White Collar, One Tree Hill) will guest-star on ABC’s Forever as a dominatrix who becomes a murder suspect, EW.com reports.

* Lord Grantham’s dog, Isis, may become the victim of an unfortunate coincidence. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the Downton Abbey pup — who was not feeling well during the latest U.K. episode — may be eliminated to avoid any association to the jihadist group ISIS.

* The series finale of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire drew 2.3 million total viewers, up 7 percent from its Season 4 finale. With replays factored in, the closer amassed 3 million viewers, a high mark for the Prohibition drama’s farewell season.

* Canadian broadcaster Space has unveiled the first poster for Bitten Season 2, and it’s pretty bloody.

Well and I thought they would get rid of Isis, because she was getting a little bit old for a dog -.- ISIS is the last thing I was thinking about, but maybe that´s because in Germany media its called “IS”.

  2. Luis says:

Hasn’t the dominatrix-as-murder-suspect been done enough?

    • eddie says:

      its all been done before.

    • Wordsmith says:

Elementary and Castle have both had dominatrixes (dominatrices?) involved in murder cases, but not really as serious suspects, if I recall correctly.
In any case, I’m willing to give Forever a pass on the repetition if it means Hilarie Burton in a corset and thigh-high boots. Some things simply trump storytelling integrity.

  3. Babygate says:

I hope that Vee doesn’t return to OITNB. She was the most despicable and unlikeable character of all. Sleeping with one of her ‘kids’ was just beyond gross.

  4. Buck says:

Not enough people watched Boardwalk Empire. It was magnificent. I’m glad they told the story and closed it out on a high note.

  5. HAP says:

it sure looked like Vee was a goner in the final scene. I assumed she was not coming back. In fact has not Toussaint already landed another TV gig?

  6. spotteddog says:

I never even considered Vee coming back to Orange, what with how things ended. It would be totally unrealistic

  7. Mika02 says:

Um Vee’s fate was not left unknown. Maybe she is coming back for some flashback work. She was tied to a lot of characters.

  8. EJ386 says:

Bitten is one of my favourite shows, so happy it will be back soon!

  9. Dude says:

Vee’s fate was not left unknown. It was pretty obvious she’s not coming back.

  10. Bill says:

Vee sure looked gone to me on OITNB
