Stephen Collins Scandal

ABC is keeping its distance from Stephen Collins in the wake of his child molestation scandal.

The former 7th Heaven star was set to return to Scandal this season as Reed Wallace — a character originally introduced back in Season 2 — but ABC has reportedly had a change of heart. A rep for the network tells BuzzFeed that ABC “will not be airing any footage with Stephen Collins.”

Collins’ second appearance had already been filmed, which the actor confirmed Sept. 23 on Twitter:

A 2012 tape of Collins allegedly admitting to molesting several children years prior was released Tuesday by TMZ.

Snooki & JWOWW‘s upcoming fourth season — premiering Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 10/9c — will also be its last. MTV has released an official trailer, giving us a sneak peek at the stars’ new babies and Snooki’s wedding to Jionni LaValle:

* Speaking of first-looks, NBC has released the promo for Bill Hader’s Saturday Night Live hosting gig:

* Brian Dennehy (The Good Wife) and Neal McDonough (Desperate Housewives) have booked recurring roles on TNT’s upcoming drama Public Morals, which follows several police officers struggling not to cross moral lines. Per our sister Deadline, Dennehy will play mobster Joseph “Big Red” Patton and McDonough will play his son Rusty.

  1. Tran says:

Very excited for Bill Hader’s return on SNL this time as host this weekend. Really hope Stefon makes an appearance and I don’t know much about Hozier (this week’s musical guest).

  2. Fred says:

I heard ABC replaced his episode with another one. I hope this doesn’t change the continuity, I don’t think it’s good for Scandal to air out of order. But good for them they cut him from the episode!

    • David4 says:

I don’t think it will make any difference. I feel bad for the other people from 7th Heaven because their show will never be shown again.

      • J.B. says:

I agree. The entire show is forever tainted by this man’s heinous actions. I understand it but I don’t think it’s right. The show and it’s other cast and crew shouldn’t be punished as well.

  3. dude says:

He’s a big fan of that “…would have to kill me” line isn’t he?

  4. Moment says:

Called it on the other thread, his support is crumbling, soon he’ll be nothing but a washed up pedophile facing conviction.

    • Drew says:

Nah. There’s still a chance that he could work with A-list actors and win an Academy Award! Just ask Roman Polanski.

  5. Eric7740 says:

Poor Stephen Collins, a man I use to find a talented actor, and an incredibly handsome man… I don’t know what else to say…

  6. Joey Padron says:

So excited for Bill Hader’s return to SNL this weekend! New promos video he did with Kenan was good & funny.

  7. RReg says:

Doesn’t he play the dad of one of the women on the Fosters as well?

  8. Tim says:

ADORE Bill Hader. If you haven’t, go see Skeleton Twins with him and Kristen Wiig. So great!

  9. kent says:

Even Olivia Pope can’t save that pervert.

  10. RReg says:

I’m confused… what did he actually do? I thought he just exposed himself. Is it alleged that he did more than this?
