Red Band Society First Look: Nurse Jackson Is Not Here for the Muffins

In the following preview clip from the charming drama’s pilot episode (premiering tonight at 9/8c on Fox), Oscar winner Octavia Spencer’s alter-ego just says no — rather emphatically — to a high-carb breakfast, and also shoots down a dubious use of the word “like” by eager Nurse Brittany (newcomer Rebecca Rittenhouse).

  1. Robert says:

That was a rather nasty way of dealing with a perky nurse. I also think if I see someone throwaway a perfectly good plate of food, they have some serious issues to deal with.

  2. zac says:

Loved the quirkiness of this show. Fox better not f– this up

  3. Alice says:

I agree with Robert. Also Octavia Spencer needs a decent script.

  4. jm says:

Dont judge a character just for a preview… Love Olivia. Hope she wins an emmy for this character!!!

  5. The Muffin Man says:

Death Muffins. Kids with gluten or nut allergies could get them and it would be bad.
