Suits Bad Boy Brendan Hines Fitted for a Recurring Role on CBS' Scorpion

Brendan Hines on Scorpion

Brendan Hines is bringing some daddy issues to CBS’ upcoming drama Scorpion.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the Suits alum will recur as  Drew Winters, father of Paige’s (Katharine McPhee) genius son, Ralph. When Drew shows up for the first time in six years, he turns Paige’s life upside down — and the Scorpion team will have a few thoughts of their own on the matter.

In addition to a recent turn on Suits, Hines’ TV credits include Lie to Me, Scandal and Betrayal.

Hines will first appear in a November episode of the freshman series. Scorpion bows Monday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c, where it leads into the relocated NCIS: Los Angeles.

Good choice! He and Kat will look great together! Excited for Scorpion!

  2. M3rc Nate says:

Haha, i thought the titled said re-occurring role on Suits, i was like “NOPE IM DONE IM OUT, CANCELING THIS SHOWS SEASON PASS NOW!”…thank god i re-read it. Im fairly excited for Scorpion but it depends on the writing. They could have POI level writers and this show be great, or they could have typical network TV writers (Revolution, Under the Dome, etc) and this show eventually get cancelled.

  3. Kvivik says:

Wow, they are really counting eggs before they hatch, aren’t they. I want to love this show, but I doubt it’ll make it out of October without the axe.

  4. mano says:

hasn’t even aired yet, so go away nay sayers!

  5. Tran says:

I’m so excited for Scorpion when it debuts on September 22nd but it’s facing some tough competition against Sleepy Hollow, The Voice, DWTS and Jane the Virgin in the 9 p.m. Monday night time slot.

  6. herman1959 says:

He’s cute, but I’m still not watching Scorpion; anyone know what role he played in Scandal?

  7. rian says:

He’s cute, but not enough to make me watch his acting opposite Kat.

  8. Jerry N. Wesner says:

Just watched (DVR) the opener of Scorpion. Some problems, but the intensity of the story, the relationship within the team, and the excellent cast will hold my interest. But it may be too much of an acquired taste to catch on.
