Fargo Boss Drops New Season 2 Intel: 'There Are a Lot of [Spoiler]'

Timing is everything, and that certainly proved to be the case Monday when I chatted up Fargo EP Noah Hawley on the Emmy red carpet.

Basking in the glow of the show’s 18 nods (including best miniseries, which it would go on to win), the typically spoiler-averse auteur was in such a good mood that I managed to coax a tantalizing new tidbit about Season 2 out of him.

Even though much of the action will center on a younger version of Keith Carradine’s character, Lou Solverson, aka Molly’s dad, Hawley — who was joined by fellow EP Warren Littlefield — told me that the theme of the season is… revealed in the video player above!
