Her recurring character, Ramona, is a smart, beautiful attorney with far-reaching Cook County connections. (Sounds like possible State’s Attorney frontrunner Alicia is about to make a new friend.)

Nielsen, who debuts in this season’s fourth episode, joins fellow Season 6 newbies Steven Pasquale and Taye Diggs.

The Good Wife returns Sunday, Sept. 21 at 9/9c on CBS.

Uch well this is a bummer. I remember her from SVU and how tone-deaf her performance was. Combine that with bland Blanderson Cooper Taye Diggs and I’m worried season six will pale in comparison to the divine season five.

Here’s hoping Kalinda gets an actual storyline/character arc.

I don’t think I’ve seen her in the show before and it’s not listed on her IMDb profile. So I think you have this wrong.

  3. cuius says:

Did a season five binge last weekend – it’s even better the second time around

  4. Doris says:

    Oops! Never heard of her!

  5. DanielleZ says:

I haven’t seen Connie Nielsen in a while so I’m looking forward to this. She has starred in some some terrific independent films.

  6. Celesta says:

Or they could just spend some time giving Kalinda more screen time. Last season was abysmal, she was barely there.

  7. Marilyn Rick says:

Connie doesn’t have much name recognition but she was great on The Following. Glad to see her back on a regular series.
