The Killing Season 4 Trailer: Will [Spoiler] Be Able To Keep It Together?

The Killing‘s new home, Netflix, has released the first trailer for Season 4, and it’s becomes quite clear quite quickly that Linden and Holder have a lot more to deal with this time around than solving a crime.

Picking up right after the events of the Season 3 finale, detectives Linden (played by Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) are struggling to manage the fallout from their rash actions at the end of last season when they are assigned a new case — the slaughter of a “picture perfect” family, the only survivor a son (Tyler Ross) who was shot in the head during the tragedy. Joan Allen guest-stars as the headmaster of the all-boys military academy Kyle attends.

  1. enri says:

WOWZA! can’t wait for August 1st. Thanks for sharing Matt and thanks Netflix!

  2. Holden and Linden are getting better at their job! It took them 26 episodes to find out who killed Rosie, but then it only took them less than half that (12 episodes) to find out who the killer was in season three, and now it’ll only take them half of THAT (six episodes) to find out the killer in season four. If there was a season five, it would only take them three episodes to find the killer, in a sixth season it would only take them one and a half episodes, and then in season seven it would take them 45 minutes/one episode to do it.

  3. Till says:

Too bad there is only 6 episodes to resolve the case and their conflict. Hope it’s not rushed, it sounds very promising! Plus: Joan Allen!!

  4. Annie says:

I hope this doesn’t end up feeling rushed but I am way grateful for the finale season, and this looks amazing.

  5. Joey Padron says:

The trailer looks good. Excited to see final season.

  6. Jen says:

Who in their right mind cancels this show… twice? *sigh* And seriously, Joan Allen!

  7. Dick Whitman says:

A HUGE thank you to Netflix for giving fans of The Killing closure, by picking up a final season. I cannot wait for the last 6 episodes to air. I just love the dynamic between the two leads. Although I wish it wasn’t a series finale, I’m still happy to have 6 more eps.
