The single-cam laugher — penned by Trophy Wife‘s Michaela Watkins and Damon Jones (Halfway Home) — stars Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings) as Nina, a dedicated, career-driven corporate attorney who has a very public nervous breakdown after getting passed up for an expected promotion and winds up working as a public defender.

Brown will portray a courthouse clerk who is a stickler for bureaucratic rules and regulations. Shannon will play a sexy and mature judge who walks the line between flirtatious and predatory, while Parnell will guest-star as a glad-handing public defender.

  1. Mandie says:

“I Slept WIth A Celebrity”. WIll this madness EVER end? It’s almost as bad as “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry'”.

    • Ray says:

Just the kind of trash I’d expect from a fame monger like Andy Cohen.

    • maggie says:

Just when I think TV has gone as low as it can go, along comes “I Slept With A Celebrity” to prove me wrong.

It will be a sleaze fest of lowlifes who slept with “celebrities” like the Real Housewives, Bachelor contestants, and Real World housemates. The stories will all be along the lines of “we were both at the same bar, got drunk, and did it in a restroom stall.”

    • TV Gord says:

The one hopeful thing is that no one has picked it up yet. It’s just an idea at this point. A very bad one.

    • jenna says:

I’m so glad i wanna marry harry is tanking in the ratings! This show sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen, my guess is that they would be pseudo-celebrities who could use the extra publicity

  2. Heathers says:

Ugh Molly Shannon “sexy”?!!! She is not funny and definitely not what comes to mind as sexy. Yuck.

  3. Is there a sitcom on television in which Chris Parnell hasn’t appeared?
