  5. barley says:

Yay for Faking It! Deserves more mentions!

  6. Dee says:

Ugh, I’m sorry but i HATED that Metatron line. Not very nice and it was a slap in the face of the fans who voted for the show.

I’ll say it again, eft you, Carver.

    • H says:

If you voted for a Choice Award you deserve all the slaps you can get.

    • rowan77 says:

Way to make it all about you. It’s saying what everyone already knows, an Emmy is the big prize. The People’s Choice is no substitute. It doesn’t slap at the fans at all. Stop looking for reasons to hate. If you have to look that hard, you have a real problem.

      • ninamags says:

As if the Emmy Organization EVER recognizes sci-fi/fantasy shows or their actors. Get real.

The fans and viewers are the ones that keep the show on the air, so for this hack to tell me my efforts to get this show some much deserved recognition and attention are worthless, then he has bigger problems.

You don’t sh**t on your fans, you know? The people that watch and keep your freaking show on the air??? The fans that keep you employed???

        • rowan77 says:

Once again, I think it needs to be pointed out that it’s not about you. At no point has Carver sh#t on the fans with that statement. He’s snarking at HIS people for not snagging the all-important Emmy.

The fact that you can’t see past everything being about you makes you the kind of fan that makes everyone roll their eyes. You cannot control the show. You do not have a say in where the story goes. The ratings – which are very good this season – shows that the fans, on the whole, are enjoying Carver’s leadership as head writer and one of the showrunners. We know this because of these higher ratings. The network is happy, the advertisers seem happy. So all is well, as far as the show is concerned.

Stop making this about you. Carver never slapped at you. That statement had nothing to do with the fans at all. Try looking beyond your own nose.

          • Dee says:

You are aware that Carver wrote the episode, right?

Please, as if the current writers would EVER make the show, or story lines good enough to be considered for an Emmy.

Maybe subtlety is lost on you if you didn’t see that he was mocking the PCA’s, in general.

          • rowan77 says:

Dee, if you don’t like the show, don’t watch. No one is making you, yet there you are watching and complaining, likely non-stop. Carver wrote the episode as a remark about HIS SHOW NOT GETTING EMMYS. It has zero to do with you – and mocking the People’s Choice Awards is not mocking you. It’s mocking an award show that has zero benefit to anyone who wins one. It’s a popularity contest that tells you that your fans voted the most often, but it doesn’t translate into higher salaries, more autonomy from the network or season pick-ups. Emmys get you more money, power and prestige. Nielson ratings and the network’s view on where the show is going creatively gets is picked up for another season. He was mocking an awards show that everyone in the business mocks. They love their fans, but popularity contests are just that. They’re nice, but ultimately have no intrinsic value.

    • Rob Watkins says:

It should also be pointed out that the one making the comment was the villain.

  7. Pat says:

#6 +7, Modern Family. That line about babies that come early and what they look like was hysterical. Both Part1 and Part2 of the season finale was just so funny and of course touching when the wedding finally took place.

  8. Paris says:

Re-read the caption under photo #12.

  9. Jenn Nibert says:

No one caught Mrs. S on Orphan Black call Dyad Hydra?? oh come on that place is Hydra!

  10. Me34 says:

Yes! Any “Bob’s Burgers” stuff is very welcome!
