Josh Groban is joining the ranks of Ryan Seacrest and Carson Daly.
The singer will host ABC’s singing competition series Rising Star, premiering Sunday, June 22 at 9/8c.
Additionally, Kesha, Ludacris and Brad Paisley will serve on the panel of experts.
Rising Star gives viewers the final say in which aspiring singers move on by allowing the audience to vote in real time via an app as the contenders perform. If the voting reaches a certain threshold, the contestant moves on.

* Fox has bumped up the premiere date of its reality dating experiment I Wanna Marry Harry to Tuesday, May 20 at 9 pm, following the first night of American Idol‘s two-night finale.
* Syfy has unveiled trailers for its new series Dominion, debuting June 19, and the Tricia Helfer-starrer Ascension, coming in November.
Dominion — based on the film Legion — is set 25 years in the future, after a war between an army of angels and mankind has transformed the world. The cast includes Christopher Egan (Kings), Tom Wisdom (300), Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones), Alan Dale (Lost), Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Luke Allen-Gale (The Borgias).
The six-hour event series Ascension features the Battlestar Galactica alum as manipulative power broker Viondra Denniger who navigates life aboard the starship Ascension, which was sent into space by the U.S. government in 1963 to populate a new world. Ascension picks up 50 years into the mission, as a mysterious murder causes those on board to wonder why they’re really there.
