Hannibal , this took me awhile, to have this show deleted from my list. This not human for any one to watch ,sickening, very evil , some where out there could get some ideas from this show.

  9. Ally Oop says:

I couldn’t care less about the Hannibal renewal (I hate the show) but am now bracing myself for bad news for Revolution and Parenthood…

  10. Spoiler Junkie says:

    YES!!! YES!!!! YES!!!!!!!

Finally some good news after some really horrible cancellations.

Phewwww!! This show is so good. I watch a lot of good tv but this is one of those shows that I can’t wait to watch every week.

    • The Beach says:

I’m blown away each week by the cinematography. It’s the most beautifully filmed show on TV since Breaking Bad.

Finally David Walton gets to see a second season!

    • Lindsey says:

Well deserved! It’s a cute show, and he’s a good actor. Nice to finally see him get a second season. I wonder if they’ll keep it on the same night.

      • Tenney says:

So excited for About a Boy but heartbroken over Community getting cancelled. Too many mixed emotions. I don’t watch Hannibal (way too dark for me), but I know that it has a passionate fan base like Community, so I am very happy for all the Hannibal fans out there.

  17. Nichole says:

Very glad to hear Hannibal has been renewed, while I’m not a fan of thriller/horror usually, the acting and production quality of this show is by far the best on American network television. It’s really the sort of thing you would expect to find on one of the top cable networks. Bring on season 3!! Hope they keep it paired with Grimm too, love both together, even have my 66yr old mother hooked on them :P

  18. Tav says:

    HAIL HYDRA–I mean, thank goodness!

  19. CBWBDK1 says:

    YYEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! I’m so happy!!!

  20. Project Legacy says:

Good on NBC for renewing Hannibal, absolutely brilliant program and I’m still surprised it’s even on an OTA Broadcast channel. Although I’m sure Hannibal being a co-production, which make it cheap and it succeeding in the international market had a lot to do with the pick-up. As I’ve stated before I’m good if they can only get to 3 seasons, potential 4-6 seasons I’ve read the novels and seen the movies. Season 7 would have been new content as well, but not really necessary for me as a fan.

  21. Nate says:

YES YES YES TO BOTH!!!! NOW ALL I NEED IS PARENTHOOD. PLEASE! !!!!

  22. Sara says:

Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay!!!!! This makes me SOOOO HAPPY! So happy with Hannibal being picked back up!!! It is probably the most beautiful show I have ever seen.

    • Sara says:

(continued) Seriously, between this news and the Agents of SHIELD renewal last night, my TV loving heart has been made VERY happy!

  23. rawley says:

YAS!!!! This was the one show I was concerned about. Go Hannibal!

  24. marcinho says:

About A Boy wouldn’t have survived without The Voice as a lead in.

  25. Hi, yes this piece of writing is truly pleasant and
I have learned lot of things from it concerning blogging.
    thanks.

  26. sarah says:

Damn! I did not think that About a Boy would last, as I loved Bent and it did not! So now I have to try and watch season 1 over the summer!

  27. Nate says:

    ATTENTION ATTENTION REVOLUTION IS CANCELLED

  28. AudreyCatburn says:

YAAAAAAY! CANNIBAL PARTY AND YOU ARE ALL INVITED (spoilers: the food is NOT people)

  29. sarah says:

Well if Hannibal was renewed with those numbers then it makes me sure Parenthood will be renewed as it had better numbers!

  30. ca_ says:

Hannibal!! Hugh Dancy =), Mads =), happy friday!

  31. Justsomeguy says:

Just need a renewal for Revolution and we’re all set.

  32. annie says:

Best news yet!! I CAN BREATHE AGAIN!!

  33. DebLG says:

About a Boy?! i’m surprised! Very pleasantly surprised!!! I really like it!

  34. jaybone says:

Other sources reporting now that Revolution is canceled.

  35. Ames says:

TV by the Numbes now reporting Revolution is cancelled…that sux!

  36. Chris H says:

I don’t understand NBC. Just 2 years ago they canceled one of my favorite show that had 8+ Million viewers an episode and a 2.0 in 18-45. Yet they keep renewing this CRAP called Hanibal that ONLY gets 3 million viewers and a 1.4. Wow Hanibal must have some great blackmail material on an NBC exec.

    • Sara says:

What was the production budget like on that show you are referring to? The production budget for Hannibal is pretty low for NBC, so they can justify the cost of keeping a critically acclaimed show like this around for a bit longer.

    • mary says:

You have to compare seasons also. What were the ratings like for the shows your show was up against? when was it on? They need to way the costs & judge by how the ratings are this season. In general many shows have lower ratings today because of 1. all the different sources one can watch programming 2. more programming on today than a couple of years ago-so it’s more spread out

  37. ivy says:

    yes!
    best show on tv,
    amazing
and yeah bryan fuller breaking his two season curse
come on people start watching it you wont regret it

  38. Tran says:

Fingers crossed for Parenthood & Revolution.

    • Tran says:

UPDATE: Very sad news is that Revolution has been canceled after two seasons. Not having a Voice lead-in was a big mistake. :-(

  39. Tran says:

Still no word on Growing Up Fisher, Dracula, Believe & Crisis.

  40. James says:

Hannibal is so great you would think it was on cable channel. It’s so well acted love it probably second fav show after Walking Dead

  41. Angie_Overrated says:

I just did a slow motion leap for joy like in a cheesy car commercial. HANNIBAL!!!!

  42. david says:

This is such awesome news about Hannibal! I really figured that they would end up renewing it and if they didn’t it’s one of only a handful of shows that would have had a shot at being picked up somewhere else. I’m glad it’s a coproduction and only goes for a cable style season. All of those things probably factored in. It’s one of the best shows currently on tv and I wish more people watched it. I do hope it goes all seven of the planned seasons. The cable model works really well for Hannibal and I think that’s one of the reasons for the added quality. This is one of a couple of renewals I was really hopeful but concerned about. Now I have this and Hart of Dixie – just waiting on Parenthood!

  43. N says:

    Hannibal is renewed! YES!!!!!

  44. dman6015 says:

    Yeah, but they canceled Community.

  45. Michele A says:

So happy about Hannibal….ppl need to watch this excellent show so we can have many more seasons!

  46. Observer1234 says:

Yay Hannibal! Well done NBC – for a change.

  47. CountryQueen says:

Yay for Hannibal! I would like a full season pickup please! And please pick up Parenthood!!!

  48. Was reading the cancellations or renewals for various broadcasters and would nod understanding why on each. But when I saw About A Boy was renewed, I surprised myself by cheering. The show has such heart and comedy; we really enjoy it.
