Exciting!! And I called that date months ago! :)

  2. mbento says:

So the Newsroom go to Fall with last season of Broadwalk Empire? not a good ideia to end to two series together.

    • lauren says:

Has newsroom even been actually renewed yet? Last I heard Sorkin was doing other things leaving hbo hanging.

      • mbento says:

They anounced that will be a third and last season… but we don’t know yet when. Sorkin is a busy man and HBO could wait lol

  3. WTactualF says:

I can’t wait to see how Bucky ends it. Here’s hoping for Bill Compton’s final death!

  4. Jenny says:

Oh true blood how disappointing you’ve been. Show would have had more life if they have stuck to the books… The books are so good ( with the exception of the last one that one is just crap).
Will watch final season to see what they with Eric.

  5. “The Leftovers” is a weird title when juxtapositioned against the concept of True Blood. It evokes the connotation of humans the vampires didn’t eat.

    • Temperance says:

It IS about the humans the vampires didn’t eat…. it’s sounds like it’s about the true winners of humankind from… the rest.

      • Temperance says:

That should read “…humankind free from… the rest.” If the conceit is that it is a ‘Christian’ rapture, it would literally make heaven on Earth.

  6. alistaircrane says:

Can’t wait to see Bill and Sookie reunite!
Who in their right minds would watch a Damon Lindelof show after the Lost finale clusterf**k?

    • Brooke says:

Because the book that it is based on doesn’t explain anything about WHY the people disappeared. Tailor made!

    • Conrad says:

Does that mean people like you will NOT be watching the show? Please let this be true. You stay over at your end of the TV, I’ll stay over on mine.

    • Scott says:

I will watch anything that has Christopher Ecclestone in it. Of course no doubt the audience will be up in arms because there will not be an explanation of what happened or why. The whole point of The Leftovers is what happens next.

    • Temperance says:

Me, of course. Of course, I didn’t have a problem with the Lost finale like most intelligent people I know.

  7. christine says:

True Blood is truly awful. I use to love the show but it has never rebounded creatively from season 1. It just got progressively worse. They should have stayed true to the source material.

    • Temperance says:

It wasn’t bad – just different… like you should have expected from any movie, TV show, other artwork based on another.

  8. Quay says:

Well ive Been Watchinq True blood Since it came Out on HBO And Realizing That this Is the last makes me Sad….

  9. ASDA says:
