  1. Lucky says:

Rookie Blue is awesome. Wish it was starting earlier, but I’ll try and be patient. Love that show.

  2. Alanna says:

Why in the heck are they starting Rookie Blue so late this year?! The last two years it has premiered in late May/early June.

  3. Ally Oop says:

I will probably watch Rookie Blue in a few years as binge-viewing. I missed the first two seasons and I hate startin shows in the middle of the series.

  4. Bill says:

Why does RB start so late?

  5. Guest says:

I’m thinking they’re probably starting RB later so they don’t have to take those 3 weeks off like they did last year. Also, it will probably be a split season since they’re doing 22 episodes instead of the 13 they always did. Probably going to do half, take a break, and come back in January or something if I had to guess. Kind of like what Switched at Birth does.

  6. April says:

Yay! So glad Motive is coming back!

  7. Matt says:

So I guess this means they canned whodunnit?

  8. Margaret says:

They’re most likely starting RB so late so they don’t have to take that break for the NBA playoffs since those are always broadcast on ABC. I’m actually glad about it so we can get the episodes with no interruptions. I heard rumors that we’ll get more than the usual 13 episodes, hope that’s true!

  9. wrstlgirl says:

Yeah, I think Margaret may be right. Last season when RB kept getting interrupted ABC actually responded to fans complaints with an apology, etc. I’ve never seen any other network do that. Maybe they decided to be pro-active this year.

  10. sarah says:

That is very odd that RB is starting so late. Especially with the 22 episode season it is getting this year. If they run an episode each week that takes the show until 2nd week December and there will be some breaks in there for sure for US Thanksgiving at least.
RB airs Thursdays at 900pm (central) so same time that Scandal is at fall time. I wonder then if they will not air Scandal until Jan 2015 and run in without breaks.

  11. sarah says:

Okay just saw that RB will only have 11 episodes air in the USA! Us Canadians get the full 22! Sorry to my fellow RB lovers in the USA!

    • Guest says:

We get the 22 as well, ABC just hasn’t stated when they’ll air the remaining 11.

      • sarah says:

It probably WILL matter with their fall schedule! If they have tons of new shows and then the old shows that they have to air then ABC may not air them OR if they do it could be 2015 before you see them.

  12. TVFan says:

    “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night”
Is this gonna be some half-baked copy of NBC’s mildly entertaining “Hollywood Game Night”?

  13. S says:

RB most likely starts late because Black Box debuts on April 24 in the same time slot – 13 weeks later RB debuts. Not sure if the NBA playoffs have anything to do with it. If I remember correctly, ABC still aired the show, but in a different time slot. I’m assuming they will do the same with Black Box.

In Canada, Rookie Blue premieres in the Spring of 2014 on Global :) I’m guessing Global isn’t airing Black Box then!

  14. Amber says:

    Under the Dome?

  15. SK says:

    Yes, Mistresses!

  16. Guest says:

At least they announced on Canada ETV that Global will follow the same schedule as ABC, so we don’t have to worry about episodes airing in Canada before we see them in the US.

  17. Rhonda Wilder says:

I love RB!! Can’t wait for the new season!

  18. kristi says:

Rookie Blue starts May 19 in Canada. Not sure where your information is coming from. Already seen commercials for it.
