Ryan Murphy on Monday confirmed that the fourth season of American Horror Story will be titled Freak Show. In typical Murphy fashion, the official confirmation was done in a tweet:

Josh Charles will appear on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight (CBS, 11:35/10:35c) to discuss last night’s Good Wife twist, the network announced Monday morning.

* Adam Hicks (Disney Channel’s Lemonade Mouth) has joined History’s Texas Rising miniseries, which follows the rise of the legendary Texas Rangers during the Texas Revolution against Mexico, our sister site Deadline reports. Hicks will play Turrett Fincham, the youngest member of the Rangers.

Alfred Molina has been cast in El Rey Network’s upcoming drama series Matador, the story of a soccer star who uses his athletic career as a cover for his real job as a CIA operative, Deadline reports. Molina will play Andres Galan, owner of the LA Riot soccer franchise.

Figured it would be Freak Show. The other obvious ones were just too bland.

  2. alistaircrane says:

Alfred looks a little too badass. I hope they keep the part about his character being a former stage actor in the UK.

  3. Ashley says:

I thought season 4 of AHS was suppose to be set in the 50s or something that didn’t involve the circus.

  4. powerturtle90sdudemon says:

I hope Sean makes his daddy proud as Alfred, because he just looks badass! It’s so cool that the son of the Third Doctor gets to play the best butler in all of fiction

  5. Joey says:

I really wish that they had chosen a non-obvious subtitle for this AHS, however, I still like the circus setting. Other than that, love the photo of Alfred!

  6. Trenton says:

I really think Gotham is looking to be amazing. They have chosen great character actors for most of the parts. But I am hoping for some unique interpretations of origins…otherwise as a viewer there will be little to no surprises. Also would be hella awesome if they moved time years per season if it lasts. Would be sort of a anticlimax to have a cadre of villains with no caped crusader.
