The Glee family is expanding!

At least it will be soon by the looks of the following exclusive peek at Tuesday’s all new episode (8/7c, Fox), which (as first hinted in Ask Ausiello) finds Will and Emma in full-tilt baby-making mode.

“We’re trying to conceive a child,” confirms returning guest star Jayma Mays. “There’s something wonderful about those two people creating a family, and continuing their life together and the journey that they are on.

If they want to make this story soapy and fun like the good old days (aka the first 13 episodes of Season 1), they need to bring back Terri and have her steal the baby or something, or become its crazy nanny. Lots of potential for stories there.

  2. Steven says:

How is this exclusive? It was spoiled in the preview for next weeks episode on Tuesday.

  3. KC says:

“Wemm-fant” – how cute is she?

  4. Jay says:

A married couple is having a baby! How unexpected. Glee is really pushing those boundaries.

  5. SS says:

Pretty sure Wemma is the only couple on the show that could actually have a baby.

  6. Tom Charles says:

I’m always amazed when they acknowledge Emma’s existence anymore. I miss her, they lost me when she was written out

  7. Bridgette says:

    Actually it’s Loggins and Messina….

  8. Allyson says:

Wait, this is Emma’s last episode ever on Glee? She won’t be back for guest appearances in season 6? I am happy that a little baby might be on the way, but I would love to see how Will takes care of a pregnancy OCD Emma.

  9. Mark says:

So Jayma is also leaving glee???? And is almost sure that Jenna Ushkotwitz is also leaving because Ryan Murphy and co. don’t want to send Tina to NY, just the other 3 seniors (rude Ryan)… AND we have lost Dianna, Mark, Harry, Amber and Heather!!! well!!! Good luck with with the Blaine show! Im done with it after the 100 episodes.

    • 'A' is Alive says:

First off, Tina is going to an AMAZING college that most would be lucky to get in. It would be stupid if they were like “Nah, she denied it to go to NY to be with everyone else!” Fans can be so ridiculous some times. I’m sure Jenna will appear in some later episodes, even if she misses some. Secondly, Jayma is on another show right now on a different, competing Network so they have to get permission to borrow Jayma. So they asked her back for 3 episodes. This is her 2nd one. Amber is appearing in a few more episodes this season, including the 2-part 100 episode special, and the 3 episodes following those. (So that’s episodes 12-16) and apparently will also be in episode 17, so there it goes for her. Dianna is a busy woman now and we all have to respect her decision. Mark and Harry will probably make one or two more guess appearances. Heather, come on now, she just had a baby! I’m surprised (but glad) she agreed to do the 2-part 100 episode special. Now back to the other 3 seniors going to NY. We already knew Blaine and Artie would end up there. (Artie is going to college out there and Blaine has Kurt in NY) while Sam was just thrown there to have more characters in NY. So they gave him the “modeling” thing. Just be glad with what you get, they can’t please us all.

      • Guest says:

“They can’t please us all.” I agree. That’s why I loved the split narrative. I watch Glee for the message of the show, and that message resonates a lot stronger with the new cast, in my opinion, which is why I preferred the sophomores to the graduates. Everyone is met halfway. If you like the grads, you have them. If you like the newbies, you have them. Now it just sucks because they finally picked a side so some of us just lost everything we loved about Glee. I’ll still keep watching Glee: NYC, but it’s just not “Glee” anymore. To me, it doesn’t matter who’s on the show. The ‘main character’ for me was the Glee Club and how it changed everyone’s lives.

And as much as I’m a Tina fan, honestly, I’m not surprised about her write-out, even if she will be open for guest appearances.
        1. She’s never been a high priority for the writers. Neither has Artie, so I was surprised they sent him to NYC instead of a film school in LA or something.
        2. They’ve always been adamant that not everyone can go to NY. I agree, it’s stupid for everyone to end up there. There are 12 grads now (13 counting Finn), and I honestly don’t think there should be any more than 6 characters there full-time. Mercedes is fine if it’s a temporary deal, but honestly, sending everyone to NYC is such a cop-out. NYC was supposed to be about Rachel’s (and Kurt’s) Broadway dreams. Now it’s evolved to the last ditch effort to keep the fan favorites.
        3. I am for one just glad that they didn’t throw Tina away to some out-of-character vet school. I do hope she gets into Brown, Tina deserves that much, even if her journey is off-screen.

        • 'A' is Alive says:

I’m not spoiling anything with the characters (since most has already been spoiled.. Especially with Tina.. ugh) and I agree about the split-narrative. I LOVED it because we all got something. But I’m trying to be optimistic because the she is coming to an end really soon and its still my favorite show. But the storylines for NY do seem intriguing from what I know but its still not going to be the same. Glee was the Glee club for me. -sigh- But oh well, got to continue being optimistic. :)

P.S. Tina is also my favorite character so…

      • 'A' is Alive says:

*Ambers also in episode 11 so that’s 11 to 16. 6 episodes in a row. Almost feels like she’s a regular haha*

  10. kylie nier says:

Omg i cant wait til next week i love wemma they should keep her on there since they got married on the season finale of season 4 like i know she is on a different show now but like she is one of my favorite characters on there

  11. Pat says:

Maybe I’m one of the few who don’t want them to get together; she is just too much work, no one explained how she got over her sex avoidance issues and he deserves better. His big flaw is he is attracted to non too stable women. No baby…and take Will to New York next season.

  12. Kato says:

They need to bring back unexpected storylines. Terry could have a 4.year old child living in secret with her in Florida and have kept it a secret. Will and Terry did have a one night stand when he was sick several years ago.

Sorry to say but the newer Glee club is boring despite their talents. I’m all for focusing on the old Glee (even though it will never be as good without Cory).

  13. Maggie says:

I’m glad that were gonna get one more appearance from Emma after this episode. Can’t wait to see the babies birth.

    • 'A' is Alive says:

Sadly, that’s not the case. She only has one more appearance somewhere down the line with this season (unless THIS will be her final appearance instead). Jayma’s in a new show as a REGULAR on a different network so they have to get permission with that network/show to borrow Jayma for a bit. This was supposedly her penultimate episode (the one before her last)..

      • Maggie says:

She has one more appearance after this episode and it’s gonna be the babies birth. We know this. This is Jayma’s pen-ultimate appearance. She has one more this season and it’s gonna be the babies birth.

There’s gonna be a flashforward in episode 14, and that’s how we’re conveniently gonna get her birth before the end of the season.

  14. Sue says:

    What happened to Brittany?

  15. Laura Birks says:

Please can someone help me as i have been doing my best to find out when GLEE is back in the uk and on what channel on sky as i love glee it always makes me feel better xxxxxxxxxxx and my family are getting bored and annoyed cos i keep playing the old ones over and over lol cxxx

  16. karenb says:

Prediction-The baby will be named Finn.

  17. Luis says:

I’d love to see Emma’s first time changing a diaper

  18. Amber says:

Haha, you people crack me up!

  19. Cathy Viviano says:

So happy for will and emma having a baby!!!
