Battlestar Galactica-alum Trucco will play Pete Harper, the father of the lost lass’ boyfriend (Y&R‘s Kevin Schmidt) and husband to Kristen (Nashville’s Christina Chang). A high school football star, Pete now runs a real estate development company.

As previously announced, Dexter‘s Jennifer Carpenter will play the FBI agent assigned to the increasingly troubling case, while Smash‘s Jack Davenport has been cast as the local sheriff who realizes a dark truth about his “perfect” daughter (Isabelle Cornish, Home & Away).

Trucco’s Killer Women co-star Jeffrey Nordling rounds out the cast as the minister father of the missing girl. (Newsflash: Killer Women is not expected to return for a second season.)

The pilot was penned by Scandal‘s Jenna Bans, who will serve as an exec producer alongside Rob Golenberg, Laurie Zaks, Alon Aranya, David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman, Robert Kievit, and Frank Ketelaar.

  • Interesting. The show is gathering a solid cast but the pilot seems a bit to telenovela gone bad.

    • Are you kidding on the plot premise? It screams Twin Peaks, and anything that screams Twin Peaks had better get a series order.

      • No. I didn’t watch Twin Peaks. It’s just a cheese premise. Buhu a sex tape and they kidnapped killed some people cause of it, nope. Even though it doesn’t seem my thing I’ll give the show if it goes to series a chanxe to prove itself.

        • If you have access to Netflix, I’d recommend Twin Peaks. It’s really a love it or hate it show, and I do think that if you did watch it and hated it, I wouldn’t really expect you to like this Sea of Fire, given its premise.

  • Jack Davenport and Michael Trucco might be too much eye candy for me but somehow I know I’ll solder through.

  • I have been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as
you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
