  • Joy Behar would be great

    • These suggestions are jokes. While I’d like Joy Behar, she’s too polarizing and political.. Same as Rosie. And they’ve both had talk shows cancelled. They’d be suited for msnbc. We all know Jay Leno is free. But it should be someone adept with hard news, pop culture and interview skills. Johnny & Tara need y to be given a show. Logo would be an option. But they’re the younger, hipper Regis and Kelly.

      • I find it funny that people do not realize these are joke choices! CNN used to be news network that has lost it’s way! They need news people not left wing loonies, puppets and figure skaters that why the people listed make the post funny! CNN is the problem, because with Fox News dominating daily news stories that sometimes veer right, and Comedy Central not far behind with off beat creative humor, they need to do NEWS! As far as MSNBC they are a joke as far as ratings, why put on or copy their style and hosts? Do the news with a smart voice and forget the interview shows, where you search the B-Listings for daily interviews.

      • Johnny used to have a show. It was called “Be good Johnny Weir”, and it was a gem.

  • Rosie O’Donnell is a great interviewer and I would watch that. She filled in a bit for Piers and was so much more watchable for me. I’m not a fan of Piers to begin with but I do think Ms. O’Donnell would be a great choice.

  • I’m sorry that Piers Morgan’s sorry got cancelled but it’ll probably be on for a few more weeks at least and let his contract expire with CNN expire too.Plus CNN may want his replacement in place before his show ends.As for who the replacement could be i could see it been Ann Curry or Joy Behar. My guess is CNN will want someone who can do different kind of interviews that can encompass politics, entertainment and other stuff.Plus the new show could be a live show every night.

    • Right? That was such an embarrassing interview – I was shocked his producers didn’t stop him.

    • Janet Mock embarrassed him/herself, not Piers.

  • CNN has a lot of trouble on its hands and its just not Piers fault. Even though he’s a terrible interviewer.

  • I would LOVE for Rosie O Donnell to get it! I thought the same she was great when she subbed for Peirs those few times. And I loved her “revamped” one on one interviewing style of her talk show on OWN.

    • You got it right! Get going and stay gone! Can you imagine some American loon making negative comments about the British nightly on the BBC? They’d have reopened the Tower dungeons in five minutes. Good riddance!

Or Weir, as long as he’s not wearing anything. :)

  • Lol…..but on a serious note….I actually think George Strombolopolis would be perfect and he’s already received Larry King’s endorsement.

  • I am sorry, but Ann Curry is a terrible interviewer. She never lets people talk or she answers the question for them.

Comment by Rosalyn – February 24, 2014 02:10 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • I assume she would put them first, being this would not be a news program.
