  • I’m surprised that they gave it to Tatyana Ali over Angell Conwell. She’s been doing a great job on the show!

    • Even more surprising is that they have given it to Tatyana Ali for 4 years in a row given that she’s only on the show for a few episodes per year. I don’t understand why they don’t recognize the great work done by the actresses who actually drive storylines.

      • If you total Tatyana Ali’s Y&R screen time for the past year it would probably equal 10 minutes at best. Why she continues to be nominated and continues to win this award with so little screen time makes one question the credibility of these awards.

  • A well deserved win for Taraji!

  • No Sleepy Hollow? I know Scandal is amazing in having a black woman as its main lead, but SH should also be acknowledged – you have Abbie in a lead position and Irving and Jenny as prominant supporting players, and when you add in Irving’s ex-wife and daughter and John Cho’s character and Detective Morales, it’s a remarkably diverse cast in an exceptionally well written and entertaining show.

  • Thanks for the article and list of winners! Way to go Taraji P. Henson! She is a great actress and I always enjoy her work. The same goes for Kerry Washington. My first time seeing Kerry Washington was when she starred in the episode of Psych called “There’s Something About Mira.” That episode itself was hilarious and to see her go from playing that airhead character to Olivia Pope in Scandal, I do say that all of her award nominations are justly deserved! Congratulations to all the winners and nominees! Especially that sinfully gorgeous, devilishly handsome hunk Idris Elba! To quote one of Johnny Gill’s chart topping songs,”My, My, My.”

  • Well-deserved win for Taraji, a classy talented lady. Person of Interest is lessened by her having been removed from the show. And I agree with other posters in applauding Sleepy Hollow for its diverse cast, fun story line, and terrific acting.
