The ’90s sitcom icon will return to the medium that made her a household name when she guest stars in an episode of CBS’ rookie comedy later this season, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Barr will play Darla, the hyper-critical mother of Nathan’s (Will Arnett) co-worker Doug (fellow guest star Andy Richter).

The gig reunites the Roseanne vet with Millers creator Greg Garcia, who cast Barr in a 2006 episode of his late NBC comedy My Name is Earl.

Barr’s more recent TV credits include arcs on The Office and Portlandia.

  • She remains one of my all time favorite actresses. So, I will tune in. Even though, I have never been able to get into the show itself.
