Ratings: No Super Bump for New Girl or B99, the NCISes and Goldbergs Rise, Loser Slims Down
New Girl this Tuesday scored 3.5 million total viewers and a 1.6 rating (per finals), down 8 and 16 percent from its most recent Tuesday outing. Brooklyn Nine-Nine christened its later time slot with 3.2 mil and a 1.4, down 30 and 26 percent from its previous Tuesday telecast yet on par and up versus what Mindy Project was averaging in the 9:30 spot.
Fox notes that no scripted show since Grey’s Anatomy circa 2006 has shown significant gains in its first outing after a Super Bowl tryout.
Dads opened Fox’s night with 3.7 mil/1.5, shedding a handful of eyeballs.
NBC’s Biggest Loser finale — in which the winner has stirred some controversy by clocking in at 105 lbs., down from 250 — drew 7.4 mil and a 2.2, down 19 percent in the demo from its previous finale to tie a series low.
Over on CBS, NCIS (19.5 mil/3.1) rose a tenth, NCIS: LA (16.4 mil/2.9) surged 17 percent in the demo and Person of Interest (12.1 mil/2.1) ticked up a tenth.
ABC’s Agents of SHIELD (6.6 mil/2.2) added a few viewers while flat in the demo, The Goldbergs (4.9 mil/1.6) ticked up a tenth, Trophy Wife (3.2 mil/0.9) was flat and Killer Women (3.1 mil/0.7) shed some audience while steady in the demo.
The CW’s The Originals (2.1 mil/0.9) slipped one tenth, Supernatural (2.5 mil/1.0) dipped two tenths from last week’s season high.
