What to Watch This Weekend: The Grammys, Liam Neeson on Family Guy, Downton and More

8 pm Lizzie Borden Took an Ax (Lifetime) | Christina Ricci (Pan Am) plays the titular ax murderess who, according to legend, offed her parents in 1892. Billy Campbell (Helix) and Clea DuVall (American Horror Story: Asylum) co-star.

8 pm Shaun White: Russia Calling (NBC) | Get an inside look at how the gold medal-winning snowboarder is prepping for the upcoming Winter Olympics.

9 pm Black Sails (Starz) | Series premiere: Set 20 years before Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, this adventure drama follows Capt. Flint (Toby Stephens, the BBC’s Jane Eyre) and his crew as they take on a young John Silver (Luke Arnold, Australia’s Winners & Losers). The ensemble cast also includes Tom Hopper (Merlin) and Jessica Parker Kennedy (The Secret Circle). Hear what the cast had to say about the production’s huge action sequences and racy interludes.

10 pm The Moaning of Life (Discovery) | Karl’s got weddings on his mind, so he investigates arranged unions in India and shotgun ceremonies in Las Vegas.

11:30 pm Saturday Night Live (NBC) | Jonah Hill (The Wolf of Wall Street) returns to host with musical guest Bastille.

8 pm 56th Annual Grammy Awards (CBS) | John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Lorde and former Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are among the performers at this year’s musicfest. NCIS: LA’s LL Cool J hosts.

8 pm The Simpsons (Fox) | Nelson demands that Bart find him the best Valentine’s Day card ever, or risk being fed to the classroom’s electric pencil sharpener. May we suggest the oldie-but-goodie “Choo-Choo-Choose Me?”

8:30 pm Bob’s Burgers (Fox) | The Belchers hire a former pro football star (voiced by Key & Peele‘s Jordan Peele) to endorse them in a local Super Bowl commercial.

9 pm Family Guy (Fox) | Brian’s neglected son Dylan shows up in town as a teen TV star, and Brian tries to parlay the visit into a writing gig with the show’s staff. Liam Neeson (the Taken films) and Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars) lend their voices to the episode.

    Watched katy perry sing Dark horse at the I heart music festival on youtube.its safe to say her Singing live is no good.
    And maybe kendrick.
    May watch SNL.TV this week has disappointed me TVD,arrow,being mary jane etc$

    SNL with Jonah Hill and next week’s show is Seth Meyers’ last before he takes over Late Night on February 24th and passes the torch to fellow head writer and NEW Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost.

    I’ve already seen this week’s episodes of Downton Abbey and Sherlock and both are awesome. I won’t spoil anything but just imagine Sherlock trying to do a best man’s speech. In fact all three new Sherlocks are awesome.Sometimes I just can’t believe the consistent quality of the show, all 9 episodes are great and near perfection. I just hope we don’t have to wait another 2 years for more. I know they all love doing the show its just a matter of them having the time for it.
