TVLine has learned that the Hostages actor is joining 24: LAD as White House Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau, an astute and strong-willed political advisor who is wed to First Daughter Audrey (did we mention that William Devane’s James Heller is now POTUS?).

The London-based 12-episode event series picks up years later with Jack, now an exile, being tracked by CIA operations head Steve Harris (Benjamin Bratt), agent Kaye Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski), computer tech Jordan Reed (Giles Matthey) and field operative Erik Ritter (Gbenga Akinnagbe).

    • hmmm jack, audrey and a husband are on a boat… hmmm season 4 once again… anyway i hope they will exclude any romantic triangle of any sort, there will be tension but i truly hope it won’t be about what happened in season ‘, 5 and 6

  • If Benjamin Bratt is playing a character called “Steve Harris”, can we get Steve Harris (“The Practice”, “Awake”) to play a character called “Benjamin Bratt”?

  • Boo, we have already done the Audrey love triangle with her Ex-Husband Paul in Season 4… and in Season 5 when she had a one night stand with Walt Cummings. They could have done so much better had they left her single

    • by the way Paul was not a ex husband, he was still legaly married to her, they were just separated! i agree it was good once in season 4 and how after paul saved his life, he had to let him die to get some intell from some guy… but to go that path again… or maybe they won’t explore jack/audrey… but that can’t be realistic, they have so much history, so it has to be explored!

  • So terrorists are running all over the world killing Americans and our govt’s answer is to assign four of its best agents to track down and arrest the ONLY person..well,beside Tony Almeida..that has shown an ability to eliminate them. Probably more believable that we’d all likeb to admit !
