Katie Couric’s daytime talker Katie will stage a reunion for the cast of the beloved sitcom on Dec. 12, bringing together Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Charles Kimbrough, Joe Regalbuto and Grant Shaud, as well as creator Diane English, to celebrate Brown‘s 25th anniversary.

Sarah Palin is joining the Sportsman Channel as host of Amazing America With Sarah Palin. Bowing in April 2014, the series is described as “an anthology of stories that explore some of the most original, interesting — and sometimes inspiring — people, places and pastimes connected to America’s outdoors lifestyle.”

• CBS has given the green light to The Dovekeepers, a four-hour miniseries based on the Alice Hoffman novel about four extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival at the siege of Masada. The project — from The Bible‘s Mark Burnett and Roma Downey —  will air in 2015.

• Part 1 of Bonnie & Clyde on Sunday night amassed 9.8 million total viewers across A&E, Lifetime and History, ranking behind Hatfields & McCoys and The Bible as cable’s No. 3 most watched miniseries premiere since 2006’s Broken Trail. Part 2 airs tonight at 9/8c.

• Teen Mom 3 has been cancelled, according to three of the MTV docu-series’ subjects, Briana DeJesus, Katie Yeager and Alexandria Sekella. Teen Mom 2, meanwhile, launches its fifth season on Jan. 20.

    How about putting Murphy Brown on TV again? They could at least put it on DVD. Its been so long since Ive seen.

      Actually, reruns just started airing again on one of the Encore movie channels. They released Season 1 on DVD years ago, but unfortunately never put out the rest of the seasons.

I’ve been missing that show so much, particularly a few favorite episodes (the gang goes to a team building retreat and have to cross the lava river, Murphy and Frank think they’re going down on an airplane and imagine their funeral…) I have a new season pass set in my DVR now!
