Exclusive First Look: In TNT's Noir Drama Mob City, 'Nobody Gets Out Alive'

When it comes to the law in 1947 Los Angeles, things are far from black and white — as evidenced in the latest promo for TNT’s well-pedigreed noir drama Mob City.

Adapted by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead) from the acclaimed book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City, the three-week/six-hour series boasts a cast that included Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes), Neal McDonough (Justified), Alexa Davalos (Reunion), Jeffrey DeMunn (The Walking Dead), Gregory Itzin (24), Robert Knepper (Prison Break), Jeremy Luke (Don Jon) and Ed Burns (playing Bugsy Siegel).

This first-look promo, opening in black-and-white but quickly exploding into color (including splashes of, gulp, blood red), surveys the “high rises and low lifes” of 1940s L.A., warning mobsters such as Siegel and Mickey Cohen that while they may think they own the town, the town in fact owns them.
