Set in a fictitious desert town near the Mexico border, Bordertown centers on the intertwining lives of two neighbors: Bud Buckwald, a married father of three and Border Patrol agent who feels threatened by the cultural changes that have transformed his neighborhood, and Ernesto Gonzales, an industrious Mexican immigrant/father of four who is proud to be making it in America.

As Bud and Ernesto’s paths begin to cross, their families become bound by friendship, romance and conflict. TV Guide Magazine first reported the pick-up.

With MacFarlane’s American Dad moving to TBS in late 2014, Bordertown is expected to bow during Fox’s 2014-15 TV season.

  • I’m surprised that FOX picked this up. Their animated shows haven’t been doing so well but I guess syndication prospects are usually good for this type of show.

  • After re-watching a few early American Dad episodes, I’d love to see that type of political/surrealist humor again. The show got broader, for better and worse, but I’d like to have more jokes like Roger naming his pet wolf “Felicity.”

  • Just what DOES Seth MacFarlane have on Kevin Reilly that he keeps landing his dreadful series on air?

  • Also in 2008, Pizza Hut created their biggest pizza ever,
the Panormous Pizza. But, it will be a good action if
you thoroughly check out the offers details and then make out the order.
It pays to be nice to them when you consider that a pizza delivery driver may have taken your order and applied (or chose not to apply) coupons.

  • Ugh, not another animated show with Seth MacFarlane’s sense of humor!! He’s not funny at all… fact he’s downright gross and lacking in humor most of the time!
