Sugar Ray frontman and sometime TV host Mark McGrath will play an old bandmate of Marty’s on an upcoming episode of the ABC comedy, TVLine has learned exclusively.

When McGrath’s character and the Weaver patriarch start rehearsing for their upcoming high school reunion, a big secret from their past will be revealed. (Might it be about a halo hanging from a certain someone’s four-post bed?)

The late-’90s pop star’s TV credits include stints on The Office, Law & Order: SVU, The Apprentice and Extra.

  • Does anyone else feel that this show has strayed from its original premise last season of focusing on the group of aliens and has tried to focus more on stereotypical sitcom family situations?
